How to choose the cake size?

When choosing the size of a party or wedding cake, consider the number of guests and the type of servings you prefer:

Party Cake
- For small slices (dessert portions), a standard 1" x 2" serving size is common.
- For larger slices, you may need more cake. A typical 8-inch cake serves about 15-18 people.
- Estimate based on guest count, and consider adding extra if the cake is a centerpiece or if guests will want seconds.

Wedding Cake
- Wedding cakes are often tiered. A 3-tier cake (6", 8", and 10") typically serves 75-100 guests
- If you plan for small slices or have other desserts, you can go smaller. Alternatively, have extra sheet cake for larger crowds or bigger servings.
- Keep in mind cake layers, fillings, and decorations might affect the size and number of servings.

For both, it's best to consult with the baker for precise sizing based on your cake design and guest needs.
